Stainless Steel Diffuser Necklace – for Essential Oils

Inside the cylindrical stainless steel pendant sits a coloured felt pad. 1–2 drops are enough: the scent gently spreads around you through the cut-out design – and the oil doesn't touch your skin.

How it works

1. Unscrew the cap of the pendant.
2. Take out the felt pad and add 1–2 drops of essential oil.
3. Put the pad back in and screw the cap on firmly.

Tips

• Put the oil on the felt pad only and close the cap firmly: undiluted essential oils should not go directly on the skin.
• Less is more: this close to your face the scent should stay light.
• Cold-pressed citrus oils and thick oils such as patchouli or cedarwood leave residues: the felt pad gets sticky and the cap can stick. Light, distilled oils like lavender, mint, Swiss stone pine or Litsea cubeba are better.
• Take the necklace off before showering or bathing.
• Keep essential oils out of the reach of children.

How long does the scent last?

That depends on the oil: fresh scents fade faster, Swiss stone pine and lavender last longer. When the scent fades, add a drop.

Can I use perfume too?

Yes, the felt pad also takes a few drops of your favourite perfume.

How do I change the scent?

Wash the felt pad with lukewarm water and a little soap, let it dry well and then use the new oil.
