What is MCT Oil
MCT stands for "Medium Chain Triglycerides". It's a fractionated oil derived from pure organic coconut: only the medium-chain fatty acids (C8 and C10) are extracted, resulting in an oil that stays liquid and clear at all times – even at low temperatures.
Unlike regular coconut oil, which solidifies below 24 °C, MCT oil remains fluid under any conditions. It's completely odourless and doesn't alter the scent of essential oils – the ideal base for aromatherapy.

Regular coconut oil solidifies below 24 °C. Through fractionation and extraction of only the medium-chain fatty acids (C8 and C10), this oil stays liquid and clear at all times – perfect for roll-ons and dispensers.
🍳 Can I use it in the kitchen?
Yes. MCT oil is odourless and tasteless. You can add it to coffee (Bulletproof Coffee), smoothies or use it as a raw dressing. It's not suitable for high-temperature frying.
🧪 How much do I need for a roll-on?
For a 10 ml roll-on, you need about 9 ml of MCT oil and 5–8 drops of essential oil in total. One 100 ml bottle is enough for about 10–11 roll-ons – less than €1 per roll-on.
