Why cold-pressed and not distilled?
Cold-pressing is the traditional method for citrus oils. It better preserves the volatile molecules and the complete aromatic profile of the fresh peel, resulting in a richer and more authentic scent than steam distillation.
Can I apply the oil directly to my skin?
Never neat! Like all essential oils, it must always be diluted in a carrier oil. We recommend a dilution of 2% (approximately 3-4 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil such as our Organic MCT Oil). Important: after applying to the skin, avoid direct sun exposure for at least 12 hours.
How do I use it in the diffuser?
4-6 drops in the diffuser are sufficient for a medium-sized room. It blends beautifully with lemon for an energy boost, lavender for sweet relaxation, or cinnamon for a warm winter atmosphere.
Is it suitable for children?
